My team and I assisted Hey You in building their first microservice. This service was responsible for managing interaction with a suite of Point of Sale systems as part of a new integration.
As part of this project I provided architectural advice and assistance in order to ensure the service was set up correctly. The team was also new to nodeJS so I provided consulting on nodeJS idioms and best practices.
Once the plan was set, we were also engaged to assist with the build of both the service and the individual integrations to the POS providers. The architecture we designed was a success in providing the correct abstractions between the core functionality and the different needs of the various POS connectors. We successfully completed the build and handed it back to the Hey You team for maintainance and extension.
